Belle items are generally rare indeed. If you strictly collected Peanuts items with Belle, you’d probably make an offer on this fine piece of vintage cosmetics. However, a Belle collector would probably tell you this is not from 1965. Belle didn’t even exist until 1976. It took her just a few years to ramp up into the merchandise limelight. Snoopy’s sister was a perfect way to give Peanuts puppy love to girly girls. With her pink dress and bow, she was popular in the 1980’s. This item most likely dates from that time period and is not fifty years old as this listing says.
How much is a Belle Blush & Lip Glow worth?
Both cute and rare, I think I’d be willing to spend around $10-15 on this mint condition item. There were a lot of these cosmetic and bath sets back in the 1980’s and they really don’t seem to appeal to many collectors on the secondary market. As cute, fun and interesting as this is, it’s just not a great shelf display piece. Belle specialist collectors would probably pay more as it really is in great condition.
