Go Badgers! As a Wisconsin native, this would be a perfect addition to my Peanuts collection! Since I’m sharing it here in the Snoopy Sanity Checks, you know it’s not going home with me. It’s a little used, but for a wastebasket, it is actually in pretty decent shape. This was probably made in 1988, based on similar college licensed Peanuts items.

Putting a value on this is tricky, since items like this do not come up for sale often. As a collector, you can never have all the guide books and past auction information to make a fair assessment of an item. The easier to find trash cans sell for around $10-35. Since this one is rare, I would expect to pay around $35-60, depending on condition and subject matter. A true Wisconsin Badgers fan might splurge on this item, but you might be throwing your money away if you can’t find another die-hard fan.
