At nearly two feet tall, this Joe Cool Snoopy Cork Board would be an impressive sight in a Snoopy Room. Made in the late 1970’s by Butterfly Originals, Snoopy is wearing some strange looking shorts. They look more like a Tarzan sarong than Joe Cool jams.
Finding Peanuts cork boards like this can be difficult. Like most old bulletin boards, this one displays the usual pin holes and shearing of some of the surfaces. Plus, Snoopy has a large discolored spot right in the middle of his face. Though far from perfect, he’s still a fun piece.
How much is a Snoopy Cork Board worth?
Rare, impressive and a delight, can this Snoopy cork board be worth shelling out $100 for? I personally don’t think so. I could see maybe spending about $50 on one without the spot. A few pin holes I can live with at high prices. Discoloration and missing bits is another story. I’d be more comfortable at around $30 for this example.
