Peanuts Every Sunday
The love of Peanuts started with some dusty, old books of my Dad’s sitting in the bookshelf. I’d pull them out and look through the pictures. Eventually, I’d learn to read the cartoons, sometimes not know what they were talking about. As a 7-year-old, I’d drag out “Peanuts Every Sunday” when I had the urge to read on a Sunday. It just seemed natural. I’d always spend my birthday money on a new Peanuts book, sowing the first seeds of my Peanuts collection.
The Beagle Has Landed
One day, I was an incredibly bored 10-year-old kid being dragged from antique mall to antique mall. That’s when I saw a cute, yellow lunchbox with Snoopy and Charlie Brown on it. I knew nothing about collecting, but I had to have that lunchbox. I didn’t know if it was a good buy or even if it was complete. As it turns out, my $10 investment was a good one.
For the Love of Peanuts
For over 25 years, I have been collecting Charles Schulz related memorabilia, with the aid of my Mom and Dad. We scour antique malls, flea markets and the internet for new gems to add to the collection. Our walls and cabinets are filled with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang. I have a room in my house dedicated to my many Peanuts finds, with a little “photo studio” for the website.
The website started in 2002. I was just out of college and couldn’t find a job. What better time to start your own internet business! As time passed, it also turned out to be a great way to catalog the thousands of items we’ve accumulated. We hope you enjoy our collection!
