Vintage Snoopy Ceramic Fries Bank – $650. Find it on eBay (affiliate link).
Fast food shouldn’t be this expensive! This Snoopy bank is part of a series of four junk food inspired pieces including an ice cream cone, a hamburger, a hotdog and a box of french fries. The series of banks is from 1982 and was also produced as smaller Christmas ornaments. Their fun theme and cute design mean they are a favorite with collectors. Unlike many Determined Productions composition banks, these are available in a higher-quality glazed ceramic for the United States market. The European market seems to have these in composition, which can be harder to find in the United States.
How much is a Snoopy Fries Bank worth?
Though hard to come by, they aren’t impossible to find with a little patience. I would expect to pay $75-$120 for a ceramic bank in this series in excellent to mint condition.
