VINTAGE 1969 Snoopy USA Astronaut Doll Uniform Determined Prod Peanuts Vintage – $150. Find it on eBay (affiliate link).
When going to the moon, be sure to wear your shoes and scarf. Plus, don’t forget your oxygen! This 1969 Snoopy Astronaut Pocket Doll is woefully unprepared for going on a spacewalk. The big plus is he still has his iconic helmet, though it’s in need of a good cleaning.
Made in 1969 by Determined Productions, the Snoopy Astronaut Pocket Doll is a highly sought after collector’s item. The appeal largely comes down to timing and history. NASA used Snoopy to promote their internal safety campaign, reward their employees with the Silver Snoopy Award, Apollo 10 and much, much more. Plus, this Snoopy doll came out at just the perfect time to celebrate the first moon walk. This toy is so cool, even Mickey Mouse wants to be Snoopy.
How much is a Snoopy Astronaut Doll worth?
At $150, this 1969 Snoopy Astronaut Pocket Doll is not worth it. The only missing accessory I might put up with for this doll is the scarf. That’s an easy to replace item to complete the look. In this condition, I wouldn’t spend more than $20-30 on it. If you needed a helmet, this one might cleanup and be transferable, though not without some difficulty. The helmet isn’t really made to come off. In very good to mint condition, with all his accessories and the original box would be worth $150-$250. Spaceman Snoopy is a hot commodity right now, but not hot enough for the price on this doll.
