VintAge Garfield And Snoopy Peanuts Lot Mini Telephone Book Post It Notes Figure – $30. Find it on eBay (affiliate links).
Anyone here a Snoopy and Garfield collector? It’s not out of the realms of possibility, but I’m sure it’s a rare combo of interests. When selling collectibles, you really want to consider your audience. What type of people would want to buy this lot of items? A Snoopy AND Garfield collector. A person who can resell what they don’t want.
As a person who can resell what they don’t want, this lot isn’t interesting to me. I don’t know anything about Garfield collectibles. When roaming around antique stores and flea markets, I am seeing a lot more Garfield memorabilia. Is that because there’s more demand for it? Or just more people of a certain age clearing out their attics? If I were to acquire some Garfield memorabilia, I wouldn’t know what it’s worth. Post-it notes in my experience are worth maybe $5. The plastic figurine is worth maybe $10-15. I don’t really know. Could be more, could be less. How much time do I want to put into research before even buying an item? If I’m only making $10 from selling the two items, it may not be worth my time to put in the ten minutes research.
How much are Snoopy collectibles worth?
What I do know is how much the Snoopy items could be worth. The Snoopy and Woodstock vase by Determined Productions is worth maybe $15-20. The Snoopy address book by Butterfly Originals is worth about $5. The Snoopy clip-on plush by Determined Productions is worth around $10. All of these dollar amounts hinge on the actual condition. Is the address book written in? Is the vase cracked, crazed or dirty? Not enough information for me!
If you’re a Snoopy and Garfield collector, this is a reasonably priced lot. For everyone else, it’s a pass.
Finally, the seller says these are being shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box. Two of these items would need to be crushed into pieces for that to work. You might want to confirm the shipping arrangements. The Snoopy and Woodstock Planter should be handled with care!
