“That doesn’t look like a cookie jar,” you might be saying. Snoopy is sadly missing two pieces to this lovely Treasure Craft Cookie Jar. The seller probably doesn’t know what they have because of this. Thankfully, you’re armed with information to get a good buy.
Treasure Craft produced a variety of Peanuts kitchen items including trivets, spoon rests, salt and pepper shakers, mugs and cookie jars. Based on the logo and my memory, I believe these were available in the late 1990’s. The Snoopy and Woodstock cookie jar is fairly common on the secondary market, probably because it’s so cute and lots were produced. Snoopy holds a glass bowl with Woodstock in his nest for the lid. Being three pieces, it’s easy to imagine how fragile these can be.
How much is a Snoopy Treasure Craft Cookie Jar worth?
If this piece was complete with the original box, I could see paying $100 for a Snoopy Treasure Craft Cookie Jar. Without the other two pieces, I would value this at around $15-20. It’s probably the least likely piece to break. The bowl and the lid are being used and a slip of the hand could turn both pieces a pile of dust. The seller does have a “make an offer” on their listing, so perhaps pointing out what this actually is could get you a discount. With the right size fish bowl, you could have a one-of-a-kind aquarium or terrarium!
