To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Peanuts Comic Strip in 1990, Willitts Designs created a variety of commemorative pieces. One of the more popular pieces was a set of figurines and a musical cake featuring the Peanuts gang holding cake, presents and balloons. The set of figurines includes Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Sally, Schroeder, Linus, Lucy, Peppermint Patty and Marcie. Personally, I love the musical cake better than the solitary figurines.
How much is a Snoopy Party Figurine from Willitts Designs worth?
The Peanuts Party Figurines aren’t terribly hard to come by. I’ve picked them up for a few dollars, mint in the original box, at collector’s shows. I would expect to pay around $10-15 for one figurine, mint in the original box, depending on the character. Minor characters, like Marcie and Sally, are easily picked up for less. For a character I really needed to complete the set or was harder to find, I might pay a little more. If a figurine didn’t include the box, I’d use that to my advantage to get a bargain. Any damage, such as a missing balloon, and I’d pass.
