Vintage 1966 Schulz United Feature Syndicate Porcelain Snoopy Figure – $150. Find it on eBay (affiliate links).
Oh porcelain! You make everything sound so fancy! Far from fancy, this is merely a mass-produced paperweight. It even has production flaws, as pointed out by the seller themselves. Cute, lovely, not fancy! Just a good ol’ ceramic Snoopy Paperweight by Butterfly Originals from 1979.
While wildly over-priced, this is a lovely example of this era of paperweight. The paint is notorious on these for flaking off or getting chipped. However, if the seller wasn’t aware of its ability to hold paper, then it might have lost its internal sand. These were usually hollow with an opening for whatever would weight down the hollow figurine. If that’s gone, it’s not a huge deal, but it isn’t as pristine as a collector might prefer. I’d overlook this fact, just because on the rare occasion papers need holding, I use whatever is around.
How much is a Snoopy Paperweight worth?
Originally, Snoopy probably had a box. These are generally always gone. In this condition, I’d expect to pay around $15-25 for a Snoopy Paperweight by Butterfly Originals.
