Vtg 35th Anniversary Snoopy 1985 Peanuts Plush Toy Limited Edition – $195. Find it on eBay (affiliate links).
Snoopy looks like a million bucks in his shiny gold and silver suit. Made in 1985, this Snoopy 35th Anniversary Plush is one of 5,000 produced by Determined Productions. Joe Cool and Flying Ace limited edition plushes were also created in the following years. These 18″ plushes are distinguished by their special sewn-in tags and the shopping bag packaging depicting the doll on the front. This particular limited edition plush is also different from your regular 18″ Plushes as it has a much finer, softer fur.
Overall, this Snoopy 35th Anniversary Plush looks pretty decent. The silvering is starting to break off the clothing, which seems to be a common problem for these dolls. Also, the hang-tag is a bit mangled. The original ownership certificate is gone, as well as the shopping bag. This listing mentions a bag, yet doesn’t show a photo. This leaves me to assume the bag is just for packing, not original to the doll.
How much is a Snoopy 35th Anniversary Plush worth?
In today’s market, I would expect to pay around $40-60 for an incomplete Snoopy 35th Anniversary Plush in very good to mint condition. Even with proper care, the silvering of the suit is probably going to continue to deteriorate, leaving you with a less and less collectible doll. With all the original packaging and in mint condition, I would expect to pay around $100-120.
