Willitts Designs created a number of Peanuts musicals, figurines and ornaments featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus and Lucy on carousel horses in 1988 and 1989. The musicals were wonderful since the characters rode up and down with the movement. However, the musicals were of poor quality and the characters and not always proportionate to the horses and scenery. The horses are suspended on a metal pole with a rubber ring to hold the horse in place. Over time, this rubber ring will deteriorate and can lead to breakage if the owner is not careful. The porcelain is also very prone to breakage, especially with so many small thin pieces.
