Super Rare Vintage Aviva Skiing Snoopy Googles Pin – $150. Find it on eBay (affiliate link).
When you go skiing, you need a souvenir! Snow always melts, so the next best thing is a Snoopy pin. Plus, it’s proof you conquered the mountain slopes besides coming back in a full-body cast or sporting a new pair of crutches. Snoopy commemorated many ski adventures with a variety of pin designs. Aviva created Peanuts pins in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. For something extra special, some ski destinations offered the pins with their name incorporated into the pin design. If you’re looking for a specific destination, like Vail or Aspen, they can be difficult to find and might be worth adding “Rare” to the description. Customized pins could be worth more to specialty collectors who have a better idea of how desirable they are on the second hand market.
How much is a Snoopy Ski Pin worth?
Most general Snoopy ski pins are easy enough to come by and don’t command high prices. This particular design is fairly common and I would expect to pay around $5-10 in very good to excellent condition. Paired up with a ski destination, I would expect to pay up to $15.
