Vintage Peanuts Snoopy Gold Tone Pin – $290. Find it on eBay (affiliate link).
This Snoopy isn’t coming to my home! The hobo image of Snoopy became popularized with the release of the movie “Snoopy Come Home” in 1972. Aviva pins were made throughout the 1970’s in a wide variety of styles and methods. Generally, items of this type, painted metal, were cheaper and made for kids. Higher quality cloisonné is the most sought after type of pin. This particular pin I would pay around $2 for. The paint is showing cracking in many places and overall it looks used. In mint condition, I’d expect to pay $4-6 for metal painted Aviva pins, depending on subject matter.
