Snoopy Golfer Bank

Everything I know about golf I learned from P.G. Wodehouse (affiliate link). For that reason, I keep telling myself not to buy Peanuts golf collectibles. It’s not my game. I don’t need to buy everything that strikes my fancy. I hit the pause button on this Snoopy Golfer Bank. Find out where I saw this Peanuts bank in the full Patreon post.

What I Love – Papier-mache banks from Determined Productions for the UK market. This late 1970’s bank is a rarity in the US. I was inclined to wonder for just a moment if it was a knock-off until I saw the copyright on his left side. He’s a darling little bank, complete with stopper. A few flaws here and there, but overall looks just dandy.

Determined Productions seems to have released a number of banks only for the European market. Plus, they made composition versions of their American ceramic counterparts. Wild! Finding them can be difficult, and usually expensive when you do. I’d love to go on tour of Europe, just popping into antique shops for the hopes of finding a non-antique Snoopy. Ahhh, what other treasures of ancient times would I find! P.G. Wodehouse books I hope!
