I remember when these Chex Cereal Snoopy Banks were on grocery store shelves in the early 1990’s. So exciting to see a Snoopy Bank stuck to the front of the box. Plus, there were Chex mix flavor packets and all sorts of goodies you could order around this time. You don’t see promotions like this anymore! For a return to nostalgia, you can find out where I found this on our Patreon page.
What I Love – Mint in the package! These cheap Chex Cereal Snoopy Banks are a dime a dozen, or at least should be. I fill them with pennies and use them as bookends. Finding them in the original packaging is much harder and worth more to a collector.
Between all the different Chex cereal boxes and memorabilia, a collector could have quite the large collection. First, there are three flavors of Chex cereal. Second, there are two different types of banks, those with the 40th anniversary sticker and those without. Finally, there’s lot of different box designs, not necessarily with the bank on them. If someone’s into finding all the variants, this is the project for them! Personally, one original intact box+bank is quite enough for me.
