Deep Dive into World’s Smallest Snoopy Sno-cone Machine & Etch-a-Sketch
I picked up two of the World’s Smallest Snoopy toys by Super Impulse to see how they compared to their full-size inspiration. Even though Super Impulse has sent me products in the past, I bought both the World’s Smallest Snoopy Etch A Sketch and World’s Smallest Snoopy Snow Cone Machine myself for this review. The miniature Etch A Sketch is undeniably cute, complete with working dials that let you draw tiny designs. My artistic skills were not exactly up to the challenge, but the bigger surprise came when I tried to erase the drawing. After plenty of shaking and experimenting with different techniques, the image stubbornly stayed on the screen, making the toy more of a display piece than a functional Etch A Sketch.
Next, I opened the World’s Smallest Snoopy Snow Cone Machine, which comes with an impressive collection of tiny accessories. Inside the package are miniature cups, buckets, a shovel, a Woodstock snowman syrup bottle, and a packet of strawberry-flavored snow cone mix. The machine itself captures the look of the classic Snoopy Snow Cone Machine, although the proportions have been adjusted to fit its tiny size. I also compared it to the original Snoopy Snow Cone Machine that I have featured before. Unfortunately, I ran into another issue when I couldn’t get one of the parts to release, even after trying several different methods and checking for additional instructions online. I chose not to force it because I didn’t want to damage the toy.
After spending time with both collectibles, my impression was that they are visually delightful but mechanically disappointing. The Etch A Sketch did not erase as expected, and I wasn’t able to fully test the Snoopy Snow Cone Machine because of the stuck component. That said, both miniatures look great on display, and the detailed accessories, including the buckets, shovel, and Woodstock syrup bottle, make them fun additions to a Peanuts collection. As tiny shelf pieces for Snoopy collectors, they have plenty of charm, but I found them better suited for display than for regular play.
