As a long-time Peanuts collector, I love finding vintage Peanuts memorabilia I didn’t know about. Case in point, this Snoopy Metlife Cooler by Coleman. When I spotted this, I just had to get it and share it with my fellow Peanuts fans. This cooler was made by Coleman and is a model 5210. The Peanuts copyright does not have a date and still says United Feature Syndicate, so it was made around 1994-2010.
If I had to guess, I would assume this is from around the mid-1990s. Coleman seems to have done a variety of branded coolers in the 1990s. See eBay Listings. Also, I would guess this was either only available for employees of Metlife, or perhaps a consumer giveaway to gather leads for insurance salespeople.
