Peanuts Block Puzzle from Clementoni

Usually, these videos bring you something I’ve had in my collection for a while. This week, I bring you something random I found just the other day at an antique store. Never would I have expected to find a Clementoni Peanuts block puzzle in an antique mall in Wisconsin. I don’t know anything about it, but it’s probably from before 1994 since there is still character copyright info on the blocks.

Deep Dive into Peanuts Block Puzzle from Clementoni

Finding something new at an antique store is always exciting, especially after years of collecting Peanuts items and seeing many of the same things over and over again. In this Snoopy find of the week, I share a Clementoni Peanuts block puzzle that I discovered while antiquing with my mom in southern Wisconsin. I had never seen this puzzle before and was surprised to learn that Clementoni, an Italian puzzle company, made Peanuts puzzles. I also show another Clementoni jigsaw puzzle from my collection and talk a little about the company before taking a closer look at this vintage Peanuts block puzzle, which includes several different scenes featuring the Peanuts characters.

This Clementoni puzzle comes in a fun carrying case with a fold-out card showing the different designs you can build. The case is a little fragile, so I recommend being careful when handling one if you find it at an antique store. The blocks are surprisingly lightweight, with printed images on each piece, and the copyright markings suggest this puzzle is likely from before 1994. I put together several of the scenes, including a camping scene and a king-themed scene, and found it to be a much easier puzzle than the thousand-piece jigsaw puzzles I usually work on. It was fun to see how quickly the images came together, even when I tried building some of them without looking at the guide card.

What makes this Peanuts puzzle special is that it was an unexpected find. When you collect for a long time, antique shopping can sometimes become predictable because you start seeing the same items again and again. Finding an Italian Clementoni Peanuts block puzzle in the middle of Wisconsin was a fun surprise and a reminder that there are always new collectibles waiting to be discovered. I also talk about what I look for when antiquing, how antique stores handle vintage versus newer items, and why unique Peanuts puzzles and collectibles are worth picking up when you find them.
