Mystery Snoopy Plush

Back in the early days of Snoopy’s popularity, tons of black and white plush dogs were made to capitalize on Snoopy’s popularity. These knock-offs came in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Naturally, when I saw this odd looking Snoopy plush at a consignment store, I jumped to conclusions. However, on closer inspection, this is a legitimate Snoopy plush with some “after-market” features. We’ll compare this mystery Snoopy plush to a more well documented plush toy from 1971. Perhaps this earlier Snoopy plush wasn’t popular since his fur isn’t as soft and cuddly as later fabrics? Drop an email if you know more about this Snoopy toy.
