Snoopy and his Flyin’ Doghouse

Snoopy is on the World War One path! He’s flying high, he’s swoop low, and where he stops nobody knows! The Snoopy & his Flyin’ Doghouse is from the mid 1970s and made by Mattel. Snoopy as the Flying Ace sits atop his “Sopwith Camel” doghouse. The doghouse is attached to a wire that fits into a flat figural piece featuring Charlie Brown and Woodstock. The figural piece fits into a base that has a rotating disk that would spin the doghouse around. The base is controlled with a joystick with forward and backward controls, plus an on/off switch. The joystick is attached to the base via a long plastic cable. Inside the joy stick seems to be thick wires which get manipulated by the control knobs.

Missing from this toy are: Charlie Brown’s second side, the tail ribbon of Snoopy’s plane/doghouse, the balloon target, the wings for the Red Baron’s plane, and most of the stickers for the base.
