Simon Simple products are a favorite of mine. This pair of Linus & Snoopy Felt Bean Bag Dolls from the late 1960’s is no exception. I’ve been hunting these rare toys for years! Luckily for you and your Peanuts collection, I already have these two. Find out where I found these kid’s toys on our exclusive Patreon post.
What I Love About Them – Simon Simple has a quirky kitschy feel that I love. They’re simple shapes printed and formed into Peanuts characters. The felt gives it a hand-crafted feel, but with a licensed product quality. I absolutely love this Snoopy Flying Ace one. It also available with a yellow doghouse!
I don’t know exactly how many of these there are, but I’ve bought every variety I’ve seen. These particular Linus and Snoopy felt bean bag dolls seem to be the easier varieties to find. Still hoping to find a Charlie Brown someday!
Update! I finally found a Charlie Brown! Wouldn’t you know it, he’s not exactly the same as my collector guide photo. In the book, he has a smile, but the one I bought has a frown. The quest for completion continues.
