A recent Snoopy find led me to a Determined Productions catalog filled with Peanuts products from 1968. I love finding catalogs like this because they give us a look at the collectibles, prices, and merchandise that were available when these items were brand new. This catalog originally caught my attention because I had seen it referenced on Peanuts items before, but I had never actually seen one in person.
Inside the catalog is a huge variety of Peanuts merchandise, including books, paper dolls, pocket dolls, character dolls, plush Snoopy toys, clothing, pennants, pillows, ceramics, watches, and more. Some of the prices are especially interesting, like the large Snoopy plush listed for $35, which would be around $300 today when adjusted for inflation. The catalog also gives collectors a chance to see products that are rarely found today, including some clothing and display pieces that many Peanuts collectors may not have seen before.
One of the most fascinating sections of the Determined Productions catalog is the retailer display ideas.
