1962 Snoopy Spanish Poster

After all these years, I’m still getting floored by vintage Peanuts treasures I have yet to see. Find out where I found this on the full Patreon post.

What I Love – An early Snoopy ephemeral memorabilia moment! Snoopy reading a book on his doghouse is just precious! It seems like an unusual pose and it doesn’t spring to my mind if it was directly from the comic strips. The Spanish phrase translated is “I like books” according to Google.

This poster says copyright 1962 on it. This is unusual since Snoopy items almost always have the 1958 date at least. Other than that, there’s no indication of who published this from the photos. There does seem to be something in the lower right hand corner, but I can’t make it out. I believe it says ‘Spanish’ and maybe there’s a logo? It might say “Printed in USA”?
