I don’t know much about these tiny Snoopy trinket boxes, but I still love them! If you have some knowledge of when and who made these, please be sure to reach out. So far, I’ve found four different designs of the boxes, but I’d love to know if other collectors have found others.
Based on the design of these Peanuts trinket boxes, I would guess they are from the 1980’s. The rainbow theme was very popular as were tiny items like these keepsake boxes. The boxes have no info on them beyond the basic United Feature Syndicate character copyright. Based on their small size, my first guess is Butterfly Originals, with Sanrio being a possibility for the same reason. However, I would expect Sanrio to have branding on the item. The yellowed resin reminds me of Quantasia products from the 1980’s that have a similar yellowing problem. However, I would rather rely on vintage packing, display pieces or catalogs to confirm the real origins of these tiny Snoopy trinket boxes.
