Deep Dive into Peanuts Gang Hallmark Miniature Gallery

In this video, I’m taking a closer look at a piece of Peanuts artwork that has been sitting in the background of my videos. The piece features Snoopy patting Woodstock with the words “Love one another,” along with a printed Schulz signature. I examine the details of the artwork, including the small easel on the back for displaying it on a desk, the wall hanger, the “Made in Korea, hand painted” sticker, and the Hallmark Miniature Gallery markings.

I also share a second piece from the same series featuring the Peanuts gang with the message “Friendship, a special kind of love.” This artwork includes characters like Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, Woodstock, and Franklin, along with additional copyright markings and the same display features. While researching these pieces, I was able to learn more about their construction and possible time period, but there are still questions about exactly when they were made and how many different designs were produced.

One of the biggest mysteries with these pieces is the unidentified character included among the Peanuts gang. After some research, the best guess is that the character is Clara from the Snoopy Come Home movie, although her appearance raises more questions because of the clothing she is wearing. I discuss the mystery behind these unusual Hallmark Miniature Gallery pieces and ask viewers if they have more information about this artwork or other designs in the series. These are charming examples of lesser-known Peanuts collectibles, and I’m excited to share them with other collectors.
