A little auction find leads to a big mystery! Being a long-time Peanuts collector, I could tell this Charlie Brown and Linus figurine was something special. I hadn’t seen anything quite like it… or had I? This small scale sculpture by Tivoli Too bears a striking resemblance to the bronze statue erected outside the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, California. Plus, a tiny duck makes the journey back home to connect these two statues together.
If anyone can confirm my theory or prove otherwise, I’d love to know the real story behind my figurine. While the small and the large versions aren’t exactly the same, they are strikingly similar in pose, etc. Please reach out to info@collectpeanuts.com.
