If at first you don’t succeed, write another novel! Snoopy’s authoring more books and hoping to get a publishing deal. “‘I Never Promised You an Apple Orchard’ The Collected Writings of Snoopy” was published in 1976 by Holt, Rinehart & Winston. The book is dedicated to Joanne Greenburg, author of “I Never Promised You a Rose Garden” under the pen name Hannah Green. This book is a follow up to “It was a Dark and Stormy Night.”
