The Snoopy Room has reached a stage where Peanuts items are finally making their way back into the room. The first item is a Snoopy Flying Ace fan I’ve been saving for years for this renovation. The classic fan from Hunter features a backboard of Pilot Snoopy in his Sopwith Camel bi-plane. The fan assembly and blades mimic the propeller of an airplane. I found the fan on Craigslist locally and paid $75 for it. Luckily, it was still brand new in its original box. Only flaw as we found out on the day… no directions! Luckily, my boyfriend is a whiz at figuring things out and managed to get the fan up in under an hour, with a little help from me! It’s quite a sight to see, spinning in the Snoopy room against the sky blue of the ceiling. Enjoy our video of installing the fan below.
