The snow is gently falling on our latest scenes for the Snoopy & Friends Doghouse from DeAgostini. Peppermint Patty and Snoopy are joined together for their skating routine on the local pond. Plus, Woodstock has his broom ready to sweep up Peppermint Patty’s snow covered walkway. Snoopy and Charlie Brown may show up next time to help with the job. This is box 13 of the DeAgostini Snoopy & Friends Doghouse containing issues 52-55.

The Feedback
Note – An update on box 10. I’m still awaiting its arrival with no ship date in site. This box has issue 36 from box 9 and issues 39-43 from box 10. It should have arrived in June, 2025, and has not been paid for. Also, as of the release of this video (10/26), box 14 has been paid for (9/28) but shipping is delayed.
At this point in the process, it’s harder to get excited when there’s a few fun pieces but mostly red outer boxes. It will look amazing when done, but there’s a lot of needed, but boring, “filler.” This definitely feels like an expensive hobby at this point and doesn’t have the value for money. It also feels like there isn’t much to do anymore, which isn’t helped by the reduction in issues each box.
On the flip side, it’s a quick project with a lot of instructions and additional information. Plus, decently painted figurines. Would I be inclined to pay half as much, but spend three times as much time trying to paint these small figures? Maybe? But it would make it less accessible to most people.
Also, the “super glue” has gotten stringy and that’s a problem. I doubt DeAgostini would provide a new bottle, so I will have to find a new solution. I do like to do the toothpick dip, but I don’t think American super glue is setup to be that accommodating. Recommendations welcome! Also, the glue is getting low.
I would love a supply list! Let us know what to get for the next box so we’ll be prepared to just sit and craft.
