Sadly, this Peanuts ‘Heros’ Figurine by Flambro had never been out of the box. Plus, somehow it’s already broken! The packing material slightly fused together and made removal difficult. Between that and it being shipped, somehow it broke. The worst is Peppermint Patty’s leg. Charlie Brown, Linus and Franklin were coming loose, but easy to put back together. The most difficult part of this piece was the multiple parts that had to be in just the right spot… not that I knew exactly where that was!
Just so you know, this video highlights the basic process. There is a lot of test fitting, redoing of the supports, and reconsidering the process that happens. Plus, there’s the waiting for the glue to dry. Don’t be afraid to take on the challenge! Don’t forget to take your time and consider how you want to approach the problem.
Supplies
For glue, I’m using Beacon 527. It still has a little wiggle when it’s dry and can be easily removed if a more skilled fixer-of-objects comes after me, or if I just screw up. Find it at Amazon.
For the polymer clay, I’m using basic white Sculpey. It works well in that it won’t harden and is easily removable. I use it mostly as a reusable, malleable support. Find it on Amazon.
