Linus and Lucy, Lucy and Linus. They’re together for eternity in these latest scenes added to Snoopy’s & Friends Doghouse from DeAgostini. At the Beach, the sand gets between their toes while Snoopy is smart and floats away on his beach ball. So much sand. It’s everywhere!
The only exception is the kitchen. The pair are locked in an eternal struggle over the blanket. Linus just wants security. However, Lucy has a job to do. The unending cycle of dishes, forever moving from clean to dirty. The glasses sit in the sink, waiting to be washed. The dish drips with anticipation of dryness…. at least in my head canon. Would have been a nice touch, actually. But no. That was not in the directions.
Much like the plate, we wait until the next cycle of dirty to clean begins. As the plate needs food, our project needs tiny figures, walls, LED lights and circuit boards. When will our proverbial plate be filled? When will box 21 arrive with Issue 79 in tow? Long have we waited… unfulfilled. We are eager for the continuation of our mission, as well as its finality.
Also, there’s a little throwback to the scene commemorating Snoopy’s first appearance.

I am still missing Issue 79. Once again, I don’t know when the next box is going to come. I assume it is waiting on Issue 79? But who knows. It’s not like they give us the option to just keep going.

Video Summary
In this video, I’m continuing the DeAgostini Snoopy and Friends Dog House build with box number 20. This time, the project covers issues 80 through 83, adding several new Peanuts comic strip scenes to the growing doghouse shelf display. Each issue includes building instructions, a Peanuts character profile, a theme section, and classic comic strips. The scenes in this box include Snoopy’s beach scene, the Van Pelt kitchen, and the continuation of Snoopy’s first appearance display.
The beach scene brings plenty of tiny details, including Snoopy on his beach ball, a sand castle, shells, and Linus and Lucy. I work through some challenges with the sand, glue, and getting Snoopy to stay in place. The Van Pelt kitchen scenes include cabinets, lighting, dishes, glasses, a faucet, countertop pieces, and more tiny accessories. As usual with a miniature build, there are some tricky moments with fitting pieces together, adjusting paint, and figuring out the best way to assemble everything.
By the end of the video, several scenes are completed, including the beach scene, the Van Pelt kitchen, and Snoopy’s first appearance with the added sidewalls and ceiling. I also run into another delay with missing parts from issue 79, which means the doghouse itself will have to wait for a future update. Even with the challenges, this box adds some fun Peanuts moments to the collection, and the miniature scenes continue to come together one piece at a time.
