Over the weekend, I came across an obscure periodical named “Nemo” about cartoonists. The issue I found is dedicated to Peanuts and includes an interview with Charles Schulz. While I have yet to read the article about why Peanuts works, I was throughly engrossed in the Schulz interview. I’m always struck by just how humble Charles Schulz is. It’s wonderful to hear Schulz’s take on his creation and his views on Peanuts in our culture. This is the time of year for remembering Charles Schulz and the many ways we’re blessed by his legacy.
