Just like my fellow Peanuts fans, I’m always looking for Peanuts memorabilia to enjoy in my everyday life. Drinkware is the fun and functional way to do that! The Snoopy and Woodstock ice cube tray was the most unusual to test out. I tried a couple different liquids including regular water, fruit juice and milk. They all froze well and came out of the tray easily. The tray is easy to push from the bottom side to pop out the Snoopy and Woodstock ice cubes.
My first drink concoction was lemonde with both cranberry juice and regular water ice cubes. It took two tray fulls to completely fill a regular size drinking glass. This was complete overkill though, and I’d usually use one tray maximum per glass.
Even though it’s summer, I thought the Snoopy mug would be perfect for a hot cocoa! Using milk ice cubes helped to cool it down without watering it down. The Snoopy mug holds 16 ounces, compared to the 8 ounces of a regular coffee cup. The hot chocolate was delicious!
I learned a few tricks when using the Snoopy ice cube tray. Since the tray is flexible, putting it on a small cookie sheet in the freezer helps keep it flat and easy to transport. For the videos, I had to make multiple trays of ice cubes. To keep them looking their best while they’re out of the tray in the freezer, I found keeping them flat side down on a plate was best. I used a bowl for some of them and they tended to get stuck to each other.
For my drinks on the go, I am loving my Snoopy can cooler. Not only does it keep drinks colder, it keeps the condensation from getting all over and making the can slippery.
