Snoopy Pillowcase

Vintage Peanuts Snoopy Pillowcase Soccer and Tennis – $20. Find it on eBay (affiliate link). Vintage 1970s and 1980s Peanuts bedding and pillowcases has been rising in price lately. A lot of crafters are using them for “upcycling” projects. Though the rarity of some examples may be rising, justifying some of these outrageous prices gets more and more difficult. In my travels, I think the most I have ever paid for a single, mint condition pillowcase has been around $5. Though cute and a nice display piece for a bed, they are prone to a lot of condition issues if previously used. Check them over throughly for spots, tears, fading and smells. More to Explore! Snoopy Come Home Pin

Vintage Peanuts Snoopy Gold Tone Pin – $290. Find it on eBay (affiliate link). This Snoopy isn’t coming to my home! The hobo image of Snoopy became popularized with the release of the movie “Snoopy Come Home” in 1972. Aviva pins were made throughout the 1970’s in a wide variety of styles and methods. Generally, items of this type, painted metal, were cheaper and made for kids. Higher quality cloisonné is the most sought after type of pin. This particular pin I would pay around $2 for. The paint is showing cracking in many places and overall it looks used. In mint condition, I’d expect to pay $4-6 for metal painted Aviva pins, depending on subject matter. More to Explore! Macy’s started releasing a Snoopy doll at the holidays starting in the 1980’s. The Macy’s Snoopy plush toys are easy to find, even from the 1980’s.
