After the Snoopy Unboxing

Our last Snoopy collectible mystery unboxing was a bit of a mess! Soap had leaked over a lot of the collectibles and a big clean-up was needed. It’s up to me to recover all these vintage Peanuts collectibles either for selling to other Peanuts fans or adding to my personal collection. Some items were easy to clean, but others required a delicate touch to slowly recover these precious memories.

All the items need organizing into whether I’m keeping them or moving them on. Sometimes I have to compare the newly uncovered Peanuts item to one that’s already in my collection and make a decision. Finally, everything needs to be photographed and the items to be sold need to get listed on CollectPeanuts.com.

You can help my efforts by making a purchase from CollectPeanuts.com. I promise not to try and get Molly to play with your package.

Video Summary

In this video, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to a large haul of Peanuts collectibles after an unboxing. The process begins with sorting items to keep them safe and organized, followed by cleaning various vintage pieces. From scrubbing down a soap-covered Snoopy lunchbox to carefully restoring an Avon bubble bath container, each step is handled with caution to preserve the character and condition of every item.

A highlight of the video is the painstaking separation of vintage Peanuts balloons, likely from the 1969 film A Boy Named Charlie Brown. The fragile latex pieces are pulled apart slowly, revealing classic characters like Charlie Brown, Linus, Pigpen, and Woodstock. Once separated, each balloon is individually bagged to help prevent further deterioration. Other items, including bookends and bumper stickers, also receive restoration and evaluation for display or resale.

The final portion of the video covers the process of preparing items for sale. This includes photographing products, researching details for listings, and organizing duplicates in storage. Throughout, the video offers a detailed and methodical look at how Peanuts memorabilia is cleaned, preserved, and shared with fellow collectors.
