In 2017, I found myself drawn to the captivating beauty of traditional Japanese Boro and Sashiko textiles. Inspired by this, I decided to embark on a project using my old denim jeans: creating a Snoopy doll. However, life got in the way, and the doll remained unfinished. But now, after all this time, I’m finally getting back to it with a twist! I’ve decided to turn Snoopy into a fashionable handbag—a unique accessory that adds a touch of charm to any outfit. It’s a blend of nostalgia, creativity, and practicality, combining the joy of childhood memories with everyday style.
Going forward, I’d love to do more tutorials on finding ways to repair, renew and reuse vintage collectibles. I’m planning on making a work area in my garage so I have a dedicated space to work. If you’d appreciate these efforts to preserve the past, please support the site.
