Snoopy looks so weird. How would Hallmark make such a weird Snoopy? They’re usually so good these days. Also, is that a planter? Why would there just be a hole with a huge cavity? How do we even know it’s Hallmark when there isn’t one marking on the whole thing? He’s so grey. Then I saw this monstrosity:Nope. Nope. Nope. That is a horrific Charlie Brown!It suddenly dawned on me what these objects were. This was AI Slop products I had seen a few months back as Facebook ads, now sitting in a thrift store. No doubt rejected for being an absolutely terrible use of our planet’s resources and not functional as a tissue box cover at all. Not that the original AI slop looked physically viable to put any but the smallest of tissue boxes under. Note – size of actual products are stated to be 12 X 7 X 6. Even though I’m not a fan of wearing jewelry, I still wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a precious Cartier Snoopy charm. I keep an eye out for them… dreaming… yet never buying.The Cartier SnoopyIf you’re not familiar, Cartier, the famous luxury brand, made two Snoopy pendants in 1977. A standing Snoopy in solid gold and a sitting Snoopy in solid sterling silver. Check out this vintage Cartier ad for the pendants and figurines, also below. Adjusted for inflation, 18k Snoopy is $1853 and Sterling Silver is $264.Finding FakesA recent eBay listing showed up for the Sitting Snoopy Cartier pendant. The main image caught my eye, especially when going through the rest of the images. Snoopy was sitting, but he was NOT the same Snoopy. Only the one image was faked. The rest of the images appear to be the actual pendant made by Cartier. The “REAL” images below are pulled from Everything But The House. I am assuming this one is real as it’s from a reputable source and appears to be the same design as “Peanuts The Home Collection” by Freddi Margolin. Also, I looked at
