I was real excited by this project and was not let down. Coloring all the pieces was easy and relaxing. The thick outlines of the Peanuts characters lends itself well to an easy coloring experience. The plywood birdhouse pieces are well made and fit together really well without glue. Snoopy’s been hanging in my greenhouse for over a month and looks as good as ever.
The paint markers are easy to work with. They feel and look more like markers than paint. You do have to be slightly careful with not resting your hand on them initially, but the applied paint dries fairly quickly. They are not paint messy. No drips. No water needed. No brushes needed. I did give everything, except the yellow, a couple coats. The red markers lasted a long time and did not run out even though there is a large surface area. They get a little thin at the end, but just going over it a bit more does the trick.
Plus the box is super fantastic! Very reusable. The top has a magnet that keeps it closed. Great graphics. Love that their packaging can have a second life!
