We’re moving on to issues 14-18, 130 total, for the DeAgostini Snoopy & Friends Doghouse. The Easter Beagle is making the scene by handing out eggs to Linus. Snoopy the Flying Ace Pilot takes to the skies, while Beagle Scout Snoopy waits for the mountain to come to him. The Daisy Hill Puppies get another decoration for their scene and Woodstock gets a buddy in his nest.
The flowers are blooming throughout this build. So many tiny pieces of paper to make the petals and the leaves. Plus, I give in to the recommendation and do some painting of the flowers, adding to the complexity. The main takeaway for me is a just slightly damp paint brush works wonders at handling teeny-tiny pieces.

The Feedback
My feedback from this build features the sloping scenes. I don’t understand why Woodstock’s grassy hill had supports in the front to help lock the sloping scenery in place, while Snoopy’s Easter field does not get the same support. Also, I would like to see the figures packaged better so they don’t get scuffed up during shipments. So far, there hasn’t been anything too visible, but I can only hope that any future damage is also hidden from view.
Sometimes it may feel like I’m jumping around a lot between scenes. I’m just following the instructions in chronological order. I would prefer if the issues were a little more linear and focused on completing things. I understand the marketing purpose, but what if we just had 26 big issues and an introductory one. Then each issue could complete 1-2 scenes with one carrying over into the next issue? It would be more satisfying and could be instructed better. Start with things that need time to dry, like paint or glue on fabric, then move to finish the scene from the last issue and go from there.

Video Summary
Welcome back, Peanuts fans! In the latest DeAgostini build, I dive into the world of Snoopy, starting with the iconic Easter Beagle and Flying Ace scenes. Each issue of the series brings new instructions and information about Peanuts characters, and this time, we’re also introduced to Patty, Shermy, Violet, Charlotte Braun, and the Little Red-Haired Girl.
The process begins with constructing Snoopy’s doghouse and Woodstock’s nest, which requires some careful gluing and arranging of the various elements like clouds and grass. While the instruction guide suggests building boxes for storage, I opted out, finding them a bit unnecessary. As the scenes progress, I encounter challenges with some small details, like red scratches on Snoopy’s helmet, which luckily won’t be noticeable once the scene is complete. From the flower pots to the clouds, and painting tiny flowers (a task I wasn’t thrilled about), the building process has its tedious moments but is overall very rewarding.
The latest scene features Linus and Snoopy in their Easter Beagle roles, complete with Easter eggs, houses, and ferns. As I continue with the Beagle Scout scene, I face more painting challenges, but it’s all part of the fun. Despite the frustrations, the finished scenes bring the Peanuts characters to life in a way that’s both nostalgic and satisfying. If you’re following along, I’ve got many more issues to go, and I’ll be documenting the journey every step of the way. Stay tuned for the next build!
