Upon seeing the title of this listing, my Snoopy sense immediately started tingling. “How could they possibly have a ‘The Peanuts Movie’ poster signed by Charles Schulz?” Of course it’s not signed by Charles Schulz. Rather, there’s a small piece of paper with his signature on it. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity for the signature. But is it worth $2000?

The Peanuts Movie Poster is easy to buy for under $20. The signature I suspect is from an inscribed book. It’s not easy to show off a signature in a book, so this is a nice way to display it. A basic Schulz signature in a book should be easy enough to buy for $200-$300. This poster has a pretty nice frame and custom matte job. Let’s estimate $300 for the framing. We’re at a total of $620. It’s a lovely piece, but I think it would be easy enough to buy the pieces separately and have it made. Plus, if you have the framing done locally, you save on expensive shipping and the chance of damage.
What about the Certificate of Authenticity? Based on research, it looks like it would cost about $50 to get one for your piece.
