Vintage 1966 Snoopy Soap Bottle – $30. Find it on eBay (affiliate link).
Do you instantly recognize this Snoopy piece? Does the title of this eBay listing confuse you? We have found the one American that has no idea what a Snoopy Sno-Cone machine looks like. Since the 1970’s, children have fondly remembered this infuriating toy as a pleasant memory of their hot summer days of youth. Over 30 years later, they’re still selling brand new Snoopy Sno-cone machines (affiliate link). The “soap bottle” is actually the hard plastic wedge that helps you push ice into the rotating ice shaver. I can’t imagine trying to use it as a soap dispenser! The hat seems to have a hole in the point of it, which lead the seller to the wrong conclusion. From my memory, the hat wasn’t supposed to have a hole in it, as it was the cap to the flavoring dispensing snowman bottle. Nobody wants artificially flavored and colored liquid getting all over.
How much are Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine Parts worth?
The value of this particular piece would only be to someone trying to complete a set missing its Snoopy. Unless you’re seeking to get every variation of the Snoopy Sno-cone machine through the years and you need this one last piece, I can’t see paying more than a few dollars to complete a machine. It also seems to be from a later model in the 1990’s perhaps, rather than an earlier 1970’s or 1980’s model that would be more collectible.
