Saalfield made Peanuts coloring books from 1959 through the early 1970’s. This 1959 cover showing Lucy, Charlie Brown looking on as Snoopy realizes his fate on the electric train is a particular favorite of mine. The colorful covers of some of the Saalfield coloring books will always make them a favorite with collectors. Unused or lightly used coloring books are preferred by collectors. Expect to pay $10-20 for a Saalfield coloring book, depending on age, condition and desirability.
