If you’re a seasoned Peanuts collector, you may ready to point out that this is not an over-sized Snoopy drinking glass. Certainly, it could be. Who am I to tell anyone what they’re meant to be doing with anything? However, the original purpose of this large glass vessel was for plants to drink from, not for humans.
Yes, this over-sized Snoopy drinking glass is actually a Snoopy vase. Made by Anchor Hocking in 1978, there were a variety of designs with greeting card type messages, such as “Congratulations” and “Get Well Soon.” This laughing design is fun and unique, but also quite plentiful in the secondary market. I would nominate this one as the most popular. Did they make a lot of them? What message was it conveying to those that received it? Laughing with me, or laughing at me?

Condition issues are generally rare with these. Chips and faded images are the only problems you’ll probably find. Their large size means they’re easy to clean and annoying to drink out of. In mint condition, I would expect to pay $15-25, depending on the design.
