Curse you, Red Baron! Snoopy’s catching all your trash and just waiting to pelt the Red Baron with it. This metal Snoopy Trash Can was made by Chein Co. in the early 1970’s. Find out where I found this vintage waste basket on our Patreon post.
What I Love – Ever since I was a child, my dad has kept a Charlie Brown trash can beside his bed. Through the years, I always tried to convince him to give it to me. However, he still uses it these forty plus years later. In part, there’s an element of nostalgia to my love of this Snoopy trash can.
The other half is the lovely graphics on Peanuts trash cans. For example, each side plays off of each other, continuing the theme. They could have been boring and just put the same thing on both sides, but the designer saw the potential in keeping it fresh. The bright colors are beautiful. In addition, some designs were made with a variety of backgrounds to suit anyone’s preference.
