What I Love – These are classic Peanuts collectibles. Maybe not as sought after as the Peanuts Lego Nodders, but still full of quaint charm. Also available were Lucy, Charlie Brown, and a variety of Snoopy – Santa, Joe Cool, Flying Ace, and just Snoopy. The flower is a nice little touch to this Vintage Woodstock Bobblehead. A little bit of color and accents his wings.
The other thing to love – CONDITION. Time is not kind to these painted composition pieces. The glaze is often cracking off, leaving them looking, well, see for yourself. (affiliate link) I wish I new the source of the problem. Is it just the ravages of time? Poor prepping? Cheaper materials? Glaze too thick or thin? We may never know.
As with all nodders, they are prone to neck cracks and elongated springs. This pair has a few condition problems, but nothing to make me pass the pair up. I might ask for more photos of the one, just to double check his glazing is ok around his head feathers.
